Born 24th June 1963

In 1996 he married Anna Davidson from Quirindi and together they have three children, Will, Ella and Sam.

Military Service
August 1981 to August 1987 Member, Royal Australian Air Force.

He was in Signals Operations and served with 3 Telecommunications unit, Perth, the Joint Telecommunications Unit Melbourne and in 1987 he was part of the RAN Operation Morris Dance during the Fiji Crisis.

Community Activity

Member of the Tamworth Returned and Services League of Australia sub-Branch since 4th August 2011.
Life Member, Northern Inland Academy of Sport.
Committee Member, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Tamworth.
Committee Member, Ronald McDonald House Tamworth, 2009.
Director, St Nicholas School Board.

 Interests include

Assisting community organisations
Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI),
Salvation Army, community groups and local events, assisting with projects and planning, and Rotary/Lions Clubs.





Parliamentary Service

Elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Tamworth in 2010 after 17 years in the region working as a journalist, news anchor and communications professional.

In May 2016 Kevin was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier and for Regional Roads and Rail.

In January 2017 Kevin's Parliamentary Secretary role was changed to Regional Roads, Maritime and Transport to reflect the importance of links between regional and metropolitan travel.
